Fitness is more than lifting things to me. I was a gymnast growing up so the ability to hold onto the conditioning, strength, balance and flexibility has always been a great way to challenge myself. This is my latest challenge - Balancing in a V position on the ball. You need to have strong shoulders to hold you up, good core to keep you steady, and quad and hip flexor strength to keep your legs up, all of which I'm always working to improve. I did this about 8 or 9 times and my goal was 10 seconds. The first one was 5 seconds, then 10, then 15, until this one! Go challenge YOURself! When you prove to yourself you can do something you didn't think you could, it opens you up to all the other things you didn't think you could. You will amaze yourself.
