“Getting Our Fit Together with Heather” 1st episode - Quick-Powerful Muscle building workout!

My first episode of Getting Our Fit Together with Heather on WSFL-TV, Inside South Florida!

We are at the beautiful Legacy Fitness in Miami, a definite must-try with amazing classes and fitness pros to get your body and mind rock’n. But today, I’m showing Miriam Tapia, correspondent for Inside SoFlo, how to workout when you don’t have much time OR if you’re at the gym during those busy hours of the day and can’t find the machines or equipment you want. With only ONE machine and your body weight ( and dumbbells/barbell if want), you can get a GREAT workout in about 10-15 minutes.

Push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and lunges, are workout staples because they are highly effective in creating the strength and muscle tone you’re looking for. These moves offer a super full-body workout.

  1. Press Machine - hits chest

  2. Dumbbell Shoulder Press - hits shoulders

  3. Sit-ups - hits abs

  4. Raised leg lunges - hits quads, glutes, hamstrings

We’ve showed you a condensed version but for those wanting to try - do 10 reps of each, and do that 3-4 times. You’ll be out of breath and sore the next day.
